Membership Terms and Conditions
Last updated October 29, 2026
Welcome to A Beautiful Life By Design, a membership created by April Gallagher to support reflection, remembering, and intentional living. These Terms govern subscriptions, monthly mailings, and online materials. The provider is April Gallagher (we, us, or our). Contact april@aprilgallagher.com.
1 What your membership includes
Each month, membership includes a physical sticker featuring the month’s reminder; a printed card with the monthly practice, sticker image, and a QR code linking to the full online practice; and a downloadable PDF with a reflection, things to ponder, and optional journaling prompts.
Online materials are delivered through our WordPress website using MemberPress. You may use available practices at your own pace. There is no required attendance, completion schedule, or journaling requirement.
Active members receive access to all past practices in the online archive, as well as new practices released during their paid membership.
Unless expressly included in your purchase offer, membership does not include individual coaching, live classes, or personalized professional advice.
2 Eligibility and your account
Provide accurate contact, billing, and shipping details and keep them current. Your account is for personal use. Do not share passwords or resell access. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.
3 Founding 100 pricing and eligibility
Founding 100 pricing is $12 USD per month or $136 USD per year, paid upfront. U.S. shipping is included. Applicable taxes will be disclosed before payment.
Annual membership includes 12 monthly mailings and online membership benefits, including archive access, through the paid year.
The Founding 100 rate remains yours for as long as you remain continuously subscribed to the qualifying plan. A former member may rejoin at founding pricing if the founding offer is still open under the final eligibility rule.
4 Standard pricing after the Founding 100 offer
After the Founding 100 offer closes, new members may enroll at the standard prices disclosed before purchase:
Monthly membership: $15 USD per month. Annual membership: $168 USD per year, paid upfront.
Standard members receive the same core benefits: monthly sticker and practice card, online practices and full archive access while paid membership remains active, downloadable PDFs, and included U.S. shipping. Founding members may receive occasional extra perks at our discretion; no specific extra benefit or schedule is promised.
A former founding member may rejoin at the founding price while the founding offer remains open. Once it closes, rejoining is at the then-current standard price, except as provided by any approved failed-payment grace policy. [Finalize eligibility and grace rules before publishing.]If a founding member’s renewal payment fails, the member will have a 14-day grace period from the initial failed payment to update their payment method and successfully complete the outstanding payment. If payment is resolved within this period, the member will retain their founding pricing. If payment is not resolved within 14 days, the membership and founding pricing eligibility may be terminated. Any subsequent enrollment will be subject to the then-current membership price.
5 Billing and renewal
Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Monthly founding plans renew at $12 and annual founding plans at $136; standard monthly plans renew at $15 and standard annual plans at $168, subject to the standard-price change policy and applicable law. All prices are in USD.
For automatically renewing memberships, you authorize the disclosed subscription charge at each monthly or annual interval until canceled. Your checkout and confirmation identify the price, currency, billing frequency, applicable taxes, and renewal information. We provide renewal notices where required by law.
[Identify the payment processor.] Stripe
An annual plan is a prepaid year of membership, not a month-to-month installment plan.
Any standard renewal price changes are governed by Section 4.
6 Canceling your membership
Cancel future renewals through your Memberpress account access. For assistance, contact april@aprilgallagher.com.
You may cancel your membership at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals. Monthly benefits continue through the end of the paid billing period. Annual members continue receiving monthly stickers, practices, and online archive access through the end of the paid year.
Cancel before your next renewal is processed to prevent the next scheduled charge. Your account shows the applicable renewal date. Stopping use of the website or unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel your paid subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; refunds follow Section 7 and applicable law.
7 Refunds
Unused membership time is not refundable. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused monthly or annual membership time when you cancel voluntarily. This does not affect corrections of billing errors, remedies for undelivered benefits, or refunds and other rights required by law.
To request a refund or report an incorrect charge, email april@aprilgallagher.com. Nothing in these Terms limits refunds, cancellation rights, billing disputes, or other remedies required by law. Missing or damaged mailings are addressed below.
Physical mailings are currently available only within the United States, with U.S. shipping included. For completed orders placed before the 25th, our target mailing date is the 25th of that month. Orders placed on the 25th through the end of the month are targeted for mailing on the 1st of the following month.
Keep your shipping address current. Submit address changes through email to april@aprilgallagher.com by the 25th for the next mailing.
For a lost or damaged mailing, contact april@aprilgallagher.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We will send a replacement at no charge when available or offer another solution if it is not. This reporting window does not limit mandatory legal rights.
If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will notify you and provide the delay, cancellation, and refund options required by applicable law. Carrier delays do not remove your legal rights.
9 Online access and downloads
Use available practices through your MemberPress account at your own pace.
Online access, including the full archive, continues through the end of the paid membership period and ends when that period expires. Canceling automatic renewal does not end access early.
Members may keep PDFs downloaded for personal use after membership ends. Download any practices you wish to keep before paid access expires.
You are responsible for a suitable device and internet connection. Contact us about access problems. Temporary maintenance may occur. If an extended interruption materially prevents access to paid benefits, we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative or remedy.
10 Personal use and intellectual property
Materials, artwork, reflections, practice instructions, and PDF layouts belong to us or the applicable rights holders. You may use them for personal reflection and display physical stickers and cards for their intended personal use.
Do not resell, upload, publicly distribute, share account access to, or reproduce substantial portions of the online materials or PDFs without written permission. Do not use them to create or teach a commercial program without permission. Uses permitted by law remain available. Send permission requests to april@aprilgallagher.com.
11 Personal development and results
The membership offers reflective and spiritual perspectives for personal development.
Consider them in light of your own beliefs and circumstances. It does not provide psychotherapy, mental health treatment, medical care, legal advice, or financial advice and is not a substitute for qualified professional support.
Participation does not guarantee particular emotional, spiritual, relationship, health, financial, or other outcomes. References to a beautiful life describe the membership philosophy rather than a promise of specific results. Not using a benefit does not by itself change billing or refund terms.
12 Privacy and communications
We collect information needed to administer membership, including contact details, shipping address, account information, and payment-related records. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. Service providers support payments, MemberPress access, website operations, email delivery, and fulfillment.
We may send essential emails about billing, access, shipping, and membership changes.
Marketing preferences are separate from paid membership cancellation.
13 Changes or discontinuation
We may introduce themes and reasonable improvements without materially reducing prepaid benefits without an appropriate remedy. If we stop the membership, we will stop future renewal charges and notify members. We will finish prepaid memberships whenever possible, including remaining mailings, new monthly practices, and online archive access through the paid period. If we cannot provide remaining benefits, we will refund the undelivered portion. Applicable legal rights remain available. The founding rate promise does not require indefinite operation.
[Confirm what happens to the practice library and member downloads if the membership closes. ]No lifetime or ongoing access to the online practice library is promised. Members may keep any practice materials they have downloaded during their membership for their own personal, noncommercial use.
14 Failed payments and suspension
If a payment fails, we will notify you and provide 30 days to resolve it before benefits are suspended or the subscription ends. We may suspend access to address unauthorized sharing, fraud, security threats, or material breaches. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to correct it. Suspension does not automatically forfeit prepaid benefits or eliminate refund rights.
15 Responsibility and legal rights
We will use reasonable care to provide the advertised benefits. We do not guarantee particular results or uninterrupted website availability. Nothing excludes liability, warranties, or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. You remain responsible for personal decisions and obtaining professional advice when needed.
16 Questions and disputes
Contact april@aprilgallagher.com so we can investigate concerns and seek a prompt resolution. You need not delay contacting a payment provider, regulator, or court where delay could affect your rights or deadlines. We do not penalize good-faith billing disputes or honest reviews.
Subject to mandatory consumer protections, these Terms are governed by California law, United States.
17 Acceptance and updates
You will be asked to affirmatively accept these Terms during enrollment. Updates will be dated and communicated as appropriate. Later revisions will not retroactively increase an agreed price or remove prepaid benefits. Material changes require appropriate notice and any consent required by law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent permitted by law.
